Shareholder and Head of International Development

Mr. Raja Virk, 64, is a distinguished shareholder and the Head of International Development at Tidal Petroleum. With a robust background in both international ventures and domestic investments, Raja has garnered extensive expertise in the oil and gas sector, as well as in defense consulting. He is well-versed in international operations across the Middle East, South Asia, Africa, and South America.

Raja has developed a renowned proficiency in operations and business development, establishing a vast network of global trading contacts. This strategic positioning has enabled him to facilitate the sale of oil and gas, LNG, and various commodities among international trading partners.

Notably, Raja recently facilitated a $150 million offshore drilling contract in India for Japanese clients and successfully negotiated a farm-out agreement for Canadian clients to develop an oil and gas block in Kenya. Additionally, he assisted U.S. clients in procuring two offshore platforms valued at $165 million in California.

Raja holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and two Master’s degrees, one in Political Science and the other in English, all from New Delhi, India.
